Francisco Pimentel is a Corporate, M&A and Capital Markets lawyer with extensive experience advising private equity sponsors, corporates and public sector clients on complex cross-border private and public transactions, with a particular focus on infrastructure and renewable energy. As Partner at Leroy & Goldbach, he leads the UK and Latin America Desks from London.
Francisco combines strong common law insight with deep expertise in European fund and transaction structuring. He advises UK fund managers, investors and institutional clients on cross-border fund formation and on the regulatory, structural and transactional issues arising between Luxembourg, Europe and the UK — and supports Latin American sponsors, family offices and institutional investors, with Portuguese- and Spanish-language capability, in accessing European markets through Luxembourg. He has developed top-tier experience in private markets transactions advising asset managers and family offices.
Qualified in Portugal. Before joining Leroy & Goldbach, Francisco practised with leading international law firms in London and Lisbon, advising national and international private equity and corporate clients on complex M&A and corporate finance transactions.
