The Luxembourg Times has reported on the launch of Leroy & Goldbach under the headline «AI-led law firm targets funds market with fixed-fee model», looking at how partner oversight and artificial intelligence combine to keep costs predictable for clients.
The article sets out the three elements that define the firm:
- The partner runs the file. As the firm puts it: «the partner you meet is the partner who runs your file» — a single point of contact throughout, with nothing reaching a client or their investors that a partner has not written.
- Fixed fees agreed in advance. The price is set before the work begins and holds regardless of the hours required — what is agreed is what is charged, including the questions clients ask along the way.
- AI agents for routine production. Tools such as Harvey handle document drafting and due diligence support, which the firm does not bill to clients. Every agent is directed by a qualified lawyer, and every output validated before it leaves the firm.
Founded by Managing Partners Virginie Leroy — registered in Luxembourg and France and a solicitor in England & Wales, previously a partner at Goodwin Procter and counsel at Arendt & Medernach — and Lissie Goldbach, registered in Luxembourg and Germany, previously at Allen & Overy, Baker & McKenzie and Pinsent Masons, the firm advises investment funds and asset managers from Luxembourg, Hamburg and Zürich, with a representative office in the UK.
Its Luxembourg client base spans asset managers, family offices and institutional investors across the markets the firm covers: the US, the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and France, as well as Latin America and Asia.
Our thanks to the Luxembourg Times and reporter Aaron Grunwald for the coverage.
