Eric Jungblut is a banking, finance and regulatory lawyer with over 20 years' experience advising banks, asset managers, fund sponsors and lenders on complex, high-profile transactions across secured lending, fund finance, securitisation, financial regulation and insolvency. At Leroy & Goldbach he heads the Banking & Finance practice and leads the firm's finance and regulatory offering to its investment funds and asset management clients — combining precise technical analysis with commercial pragmatism.
Fund finance & private credit. Eric advises sponsors, GPs, debt funds, ManCos and lenders across the full range of fund financing — capital-call, NAV and hybrid facilities — and helps managers structure facilities that hold up under the 2026 AIFMD II and loan-originating-fund rules.
Securitisation & structured finance. Eric structures Luxembourg securitisation vehicles and structured-finance deals, including actively-managed and equity strategies and CLOs under the reformed regime, advising originators, arrangers and sponsors on compartments, security and debt issuance.
Financial regulation. Eric leads the firm's regulatory team, advising banks, investment firms, payment and e-money institutions (including crypto-asset service providers), insurers, fund sponsors and management companies. His work spans licensing and authorisation, AML/CFT, MiFID and payment-services documentation, outsourcing, GDPR policy drafting, general terms and conditions, and corporate governance — including board composition, oversight of authorised management and remuneration policy — as well as M&A involving banks and financial sector professionals.
Secured lending, restructuring & disputes. Eric also handles secured and general lending, debt restructuring and banking litigation, delivering solutions tailored to each client's commercial objectives.
